Q99
History of IndiaDelhi Sultanate
Tabaqat i Nasiri was written by
  1. a.Sirajuddin
  2. b.Minhaj us Siraj
  3. c.Khafi Khan
  4. d.Firuz Tughlaq

Answer: (B) Minhaj us Siraj

Minhaj-us-Siraj wrote the Tabaqat-i-Nasiri and dedicated it to Sultan Nasiruddin Mahmud, son of Iltutmish. Sirajuddin is a tempting look-alike of the author's name, but it is not he. Khafi Khan wrote the Muntakhab-ul-Lubab on the later Mughals. Firuz Shah Tughlaq wrote his own account, the Futuhat-i-Firuz Shahi.
