There are_______districts in North Bengal.
  1. a.8
  2. b.7
  3. c.6
  4. d.5

Answer: (A) 8

Answer as of 2023 — this may have changed since.

North Bengal has eight districts: Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur and Malda. Kalimpong and Alipurduar were carved out in the 2010s, so older counts of 6 or 7 are out of date.
