With S sweets, $\frac{S}{140} - \frac{S}{175} = 4$, i.e. $\frac{35S}{24500} = 4$, so S = 2800. Check: 2800 ÷ 175 = 16 and 2800 ÷ 140 = 20, which is 4 more. 2400 does not divide evenly by 175.
