  1. a.Rudraprayag
  2. b.Devprayag
  3. c.Haridwar
  4. d.Allahabad

Answer: (B) Devprayag

At Devprayag (Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand) the Bhagirathi, coming from Gaumukh (Gangotri glacier), meets the Alaknanda, coming from the Satopanth glacier near Badrinath; from here the river is called the Ganga. Devprayag is the last of the Panch Prayag on the Alaknanda: Vishnuprayag (Dhauliganga), Nandaprayag (Nandakini), Karnaprayag (Pindar), Rudraprayag (Mandakini) and Devprayag (Bhagirathi). The Ganga enters the plains at Haridwar and meets the Yamuna at Allahabad (Prayagraj).
