At the time of the 2022 exam, the Australian state of Victoria (with events spread across Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, and Gippsland, with the Opening Ceremony at the MCG in Melbourne) had been announced as the 2026 Commonwealth Games host. Victoria subsequently withdrew in July 2023, and Glasgow (Scotland) became the replacement host. The correct answer at exam date was Victoria.
