Answer: (A) partly Telengana and partly Andhra Pradesh

The Nagarjuna Sagar dam is on the Krishna river on the border of Nalgonda district of Telangana and the Palnadu (formerly Guntur) area of Andhra Pradesh, so since the 2014 bifurcation it lies partly in each state. It is among the largest masonry dams in the world. The Mettur dam on the Cauvery is in Tamil Nadu, and the Krishna Raja Sagar dam on the Cauvery is in Karnataka. Kerala and Karnataka have no share in Nagarjuna Sagar.
