Answer: (D) Banabhatta

Kadambari is a romantic prose narrative in Sanskrit, composed largely in the first half of the 7th century CE by Banabhatta, the court poet of Emperor Harshavardhana. It is conventionally divided into Purvabhaga (the earlier part by Banabhatta) and Uttarabhaga (completed by his son Bhushanabhatta). Kalhana wrote Rajatarangini; Khemendra was a Kashmiri poet.
