  2. b.Chandragupta II
  3. c.Skandagupta

Answer: (C) Skandagupta

Skandagupta (c. 455-467 CE) repulsed the first Huna invasion, a victory recorded in his Bhitari pillar inscription; his Junagadh inscription records the repair of the Sudarshana lake. Samudragupta is known from the Allahabad pillar inscription (by Harisena), Chandragupta II 'Vikramaditya' defeated the Shakas, and Kumaragupta I founded Nalanda. Later Huna rulers Toramana and Mihirakula were checked by Yashodharman of Malwa and Narasimhagupta Baladitya.
