Kolkata-Mumbai National Highway via Agra is known as
  1. a.NH-5
  2. b.NH-8
  3. c.NH-3
  4. d.NH-6

Answer: (C) NH-3

Answer as of 2018 — this may have changed since.

Under the old numbering a traveller from Kolkata to Mumbai via Agra took NH-2 (Delhi-Agra-Kolkata) up to Agra and then NH-3, the Agra-Bombay Road, through Gwalior, Indore and Nashik. The direct Kolkata-Mumbai highway was NH-6 (via Nagpur). NH-5 ran along the east coast towards Chennai and NH-8 was Delhi-Jaipur-Ahmedabad-Mumbai.
