Answer: (C) Both (I) and (II)

Both statements are correct. A constitutional body is created by the Constitution itself: the Finance Commission is provided for in Article 280. A statutory body is created by an Act of Parliament: the National Commission for Women was set up in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990.
