Red + Green + Blue = ?
- a.White
- b.Black
- c.Maroon
- d.Blue
Answer: (A) White
Red, green and blue are the primary colours of light; when the three are added in equal intensity they give white light (additive mixing, used in TV and mobile screens). Pairs give the secondary colours: red + green = yellow, green + blue = cyan, red + blue = magenta. Do not confuse this with pigments, where mixing the primary pigments gives black (subtractive mixing).
