The Supreme Court held that forcing a person to undergo polygraph, brain mapping and narco analysis tests is violative of
  1. a.Article 25
  2. b.Article 20
  3. c.Article 21 and Article 20 (3)
  4. d.Article 360

Answer: (C) Article 21 and Article 20 (3)

In Selvi v. State of Karnataka (2010) the Supreme Court held that narco-analysis, polygraph and brain-mapping tests cannot be forced on a person: they violate the right against self-incrimination under Article 20(3) and personal liberty and privacy under Article 21. Article 20 as a whole also covers ex post facto laws and double jeopardy, so option (C) is the complete answer. Article 25 deals with freedom of religion and Article 360 with financial emergency.
